WATCH: Garcia makes hole-in-one on iconic 17th at Players Championship

Sergio Garcia's incredible season continued at The Players Championship on Thursday.
In his first tournament since winning the Masters, Garcia aced the iconic 17th hole at TPC Sawgrass, becoming the eighth player with a hole-in-one on the flat island green in the PGA Tour tournament's history.
He is the first player to win a Green Jacket and make an ace at a Tour event in the same year since Tiger Woods in 1997.
Garcia, who said this is the 12th ace of his life both in competition and out, has owned the hallowed fairways of TPC Sawgrass since his victory in 2008, when he used another amazing shot on 17 to win in a play-off.

Since then, he has tied for 12th (2011), tied for eighth (2013), a third-place finish (2014) and a runner-up in 2015.
He is the Players Championship's all-time leading money winner but is six shots off the lead heading into Round 2 Friday.
