WATCH: Thomas' birdie putt drops after 12-second wait

Justin Thomas waited. And waited. And waited. And it was worth the wait.
In the final round of the US PGA Championship at Quail Hollow, the American's eight-foot birdie putt at the 10th hole sat on the edge. And sat. And sat.
Thomas was in disbelief, but walked away. He waited, and 12 seconds later, it dropped.
The birdie lifted him to seven under and into a tie for second behind leader Hideki Matsuyama.
