Corey Conners’s Driver
Conners took some time to transition to Ping's newest driver model after using the G400 LST, which debuted in 2017, for a considerable amount of time. As of June 2024, he uses the Ping G430 LST, which has 9 degrees of loft and a UST Elements Gold 6F5 shaft.
The low spin version of the driver is the only one with a carbon crown, which is the main difference between the LST and the other two G430 variants. The head itself is 440 cc; however, Ping has done a fantastic job of making this look appealing in spite of its more modest profile.
Corey Conners’s Fairway
Conners uses two Ping fairway woods: the G430 Max 3-wood, which is set at 14 degrees and has a loft of 15 degrees, and the G430 Max 5-wood, which has a loft of 18 degrees. They have an 8F5 and a 7F5 UST LINQ Blue shaft installed, respectively.
This long but user-friendly fairway wood's outstanding launch qualities and versatility will make it a popular choice for many players in the 2024 season. According to Golf Monthly, this model is the best fairway wood available.
Corey Conners’s Irons
The Conners Irons lineup starts with 4-PW; his Ping Blueprint S irons, which come with a Project X 6.0 shaft, are the 4 and 5 irons, and his Ping Blueprint T irons (6-PW). It seems that the Ping iBlade irons that he was using in 2023 have been replaced with these.
Corey Conners’s Wedges
Conners has three Ping s159 wedges at the bottom of the bag that are also outfitted with the Project X 6.0 shaft. The lofts he has are 50, 56, and 60 degrees. The wedges appear as good as any on the market, and this particular model is on all lists of the best golf wedges because it has great spin and a powerful, steady ball flight.
Corey Conners’s Putter
The Ping Prototype PLD Custom Tyne S-H variant seems to be Conners' preferred flatstick after some experimentation over the past few seasons. It is unclear if he will keep it in the bag through 2024 because he seems to be working on this aspect of the game. Its matte-black shaft and what Ping refers to as "dark oyster" polish make it easy to identify.
Corey Conners’s Golf Ball
Conners plays with the Titleist Pro V1, one of the best golf balls available for purchase. According to Golf Monthly, the Pro V1 offers great all-around performance, impressive long game distance, excellent control into the greens, high levels of consistency throughout, and a soft feel, receiving five stars for these qualities.
Corey Conners’s Apparel & Footwear
Conners wears the sporty FootJoy Pro SLX, a new model for 2024 that is available in both basic and Pro/SLX Carbon options. The company has sold millions of pairs of golf shoes worldwide since releasing the first Pro/SL. He's a Levelwear athlete in terms of apparel.
