Wyndham Championship past winners: Exploring the winners for the last 10 years

The 2023 edition of the Wyndham Championship was won by American golfer Lucas Glover. Glover beat South Korean An Byeong-hun and fellow American Russell Henley by a margin of two strokes to claim this victory. He walked home with a prize money of $1,368,000.


#9. Tom Kim (2022)

The 2022 Wyndham Championship was arguably one of the biggest moments of Tom Kim's career as he won his first event on the PGA Tour. Kim registered a dominant 5-stroke victory over John Huh and Im Sung-jae to win the tournament. Post this victory, he went on to win two more events on the PGA Tour.

The 2021 Wyndham Championship was won by American national Kevin Kisner. This edition of the tournament witnessed some drama as Kisner had to beat the likes of Branden Grace, Kim Si-woo, Kevin Na, Adam Scott, and Roger Sloan to win this event. He walked away with a prize money of $1,152,000.


#7. Jim Herman (2020)

The 2020 Wyndham Championship was Jim Herman's third win on the PGA Tour. Herman scored 66-69-61-63 to finish ahead of Billy Horschel. Herman received a prize money of $1,152,000 to win this event.


#6. J.T Poston (2019)

The 2019 Wyndham Championship was the first time J.T. Poston won on the PGA Tour. A score of 65-65-66-62 by Poston was enough to beat Webb Simpson by a margin of one stroke. Poston was awarded a cash prize of $1,116,000 for his victory.


#5. Brandt Snedker (2018)

The Wyndham Championship in 2018 became the second time Brandt Snedker won the event. Before this, Snedker had won the event in 2007. However, coming back to his win in 2018, Snedker scored 59-67-68-65 to beat Webb Simpson and Pan Cheng-tsung by a margin of 3 strokes.


#4. Henrik Stenson (2017)

Sweedish national Henrik Stenson became the third man from Sweden after Jesper Parnevik (1999) and Carl Peterson (2008) to win this tournament in 2017. Stenson scored 62-66-66-64=258 to beat Ollie Schniederjans. This remains Stenson's last victory on the PGA Tour to date.


#3. Kim Si-woo (2016)

South Korea's Kim Si-woo registered a dominant 5-stroke victory over English professional Luke Donald to win the 2016 edition of the event. This win by Kim Si-woo is the first of four wins he has amassed on the PGA Tour to date. The South Korean won a prize money of $1,008,000 for this win.


#2. Davis Love III (2015)

At the 2015 edition of this event, Davis Love III completed his hat trick of winning the event. He beat Jason Gore by one stroke to win this event. Before this, Love III had also won the 1992 and 2006 editions of the tournament.


#1. Camilo Villegas (2014)

Camilo Villegas became the first Colombian to win this event in 2014. Villegas scored 63-69-68-63 to beat Bill Haas and Freddie Jacobson by 1 stroke at the Sedgefield Country Club. He won a cash prize of $954,000 for this victory.
