BREAKING NEWS: The Reading Royals to announce affiliation with Flyers
According to sources, The Reading Royals will announce affiliation with Flyers at a news conference on Wednesday at 11am. The Reading Royals are currently affiliated with the Washington Capitals and the AHL’s Hershey Bears.
I’m very happy to see this transition happen. I have been waiting for this for awhile now.

READING ROYALS MEDIA CONFERENCE INVITATION
ANNOUNCEMENT OF AFFILIATION RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN the
READING ROYALS of the ECHL and PHILADELPHIA FLYERS of the NHL
The Reading Royals of the ECHL and the Philadelphia Flyers of the NHL invite all members of the working media to a Media Conference on Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at 11:00 am at Santander Arena (Main Lobby), 700 Penn Street, Reading, PA 19602 (610-898-7825).
The Media Conference will address an affiliation agreement reached between the Royals and Flyers. The Royals will also announce several new marketing and ticket programs for the 2014-15 ECHL season.
Speakers from the Royals are expected to be team President Drew Bell, Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Larry Courville, and Vice-President of Sales and Marketing Mark Wallace.
Speakers from the Flyers are expected to be team President Paul Holmgren, Chief Operating Officer of Business Operations Shawn Tilger, and Assistant General Manager Barry Hanrahan,
All speakers will conduct a question and answer session and will also be available for individual interviews.
Light refreshments will be served.
