Martellus Bennett says goodbye to Patriots

There was some hope among New England Patriots fans that Martellus Bennett would return, but the writing is on the wall now.
After a reported trade with the Indianapolis Colts for Dwayne Allen, it became apparent the Patriots were no longer in the market for another tight end.
Knowing his days with New England were no more, Bennett tweeted his farewell to the team and the fans who supported him.
Bennett played a big role for the Patriots in his lone season with the team. He caught 55 passes for 701 yards and a career-high seven touchdowns as the backup tight end en route to a Super Bowl title. He also played most of the season while battling injuries.
I'm going to miss you Mass-Holes. T'was Fun. Thank you for the good times. To infinity and beyond...
