Small moves by Philadelphia Eagles adding up to better team
The Philadelphia Eagles continue to add players to their roster which will help provide depth to a team which had little last year in several key areas.
OLB Bryan Braman has great size at 6’5″ and 248 lbs along with decent speed and range. He is also a sure tackler who should be solid in coverage. He excels on special teams.
S Chris Maragos will provide depth at safety and he also excels on special teams; he’s definitely an improvement over Coleman and Colt Anderson. Braman may in fact signal the end of LB Casey Matthews.
Also, ESPN has reported that CB Nolan Carol from Miami has signed with the Eagles. He is 27 years old, is 6’1″ and 205 lbs, and has started 26 games in three years with the Dolphins. Last year he also had three int’s. This is just another example of depth at a position which did not appear to have much last season.
These moves on paper appear to make the Birds better equipped for the upcoming season. Stay tuned!
