At 6'1", Baker Mayfield is projected to be a first-round pick, but many people are comparing him to Johnny Manziel. They both played in gimmick offensive systems at college and they both won the Heisman Trophy. There is a difference between Mayfield and Manziel. Baker Mayfield plans on to work hard and has no reputation for partying, When Johnny Manziel came out of college, his reputation was to party and he didn't work hard.

Mayfield completed 70.5% of his passes for 4,627 yards 43 touchdowns and six interceptions in 2017. He also rushed for 311 yards on 97 carries and five touchdowns. Mayfield also caught a two-yard touchdown pass against the Georgia Bulldogs in the Rose Bowl.

Mayfield has the chance to be successful in the NFL because he can throw the ball down field and Mayfield has good vision. He rarely makes bad decisions with the football.

Because of his potential, where will Mayfield get drafted in the first-round and by whom? The Cleveland Browns, New York Jets, and Denver Broncos will take quarterbacks in the first-round. They all own top five picks. Sam Darnold, Josh Allen, and Josh Rosen will most likely be those quarterbacks taken.

Where does that leave Baker Mayfield? The Indianapolis Colts (sixth pick), the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (seventh pick), Chicago Bears (eighth pick), San Francisco 49ers (ninth pick), and the Oakland Raiders (10th pick), don't need to draft a quarterback.

The Miami Dolphins own the 11th pick in the NFL Draft. They could use a quarterback because Matt Moore is currently a free agent, David Fales is the current backup, and Ryan Tannehill is injury prone.

Baker Mayfield would be a good selection for the Dolphins because he has more upside than Ryan Tannehill currently has and head coach Adam Gase is a quarterback guru. Mayfield would have some good players to work like running back Kenyan Drake and wide receivers Kenny Stills and DeVante Parker.

Mayfield would also have a good offensive line to protect him. Baker Mayfield had a private workout with the Miami Dolphins on Wednesday, according to ESPN's Chris Mortensen. This is a sign that the Dolphins are interested in him.

If Mayfield were to get drafted by the Miami Dolphins, he could very well be the starting quarteback in 2018.
