10 things GTA 6 shouldn't copy from other AAA titles of today
As Rockstar Games has spent over a decade on the development of GTA 6, many expect it to be a massive game. This could also be why fans want it to include various features from other games as well. That being said, there are certain such features that the studio should not consider adding, as they might potentially ruin gamers' experience with the title.
This article lists 10 things from other games that Rockstar should not add in GTA 6.

10 things from other games that GTA 6 should not copy
1) Pay-to-win situations
While this feature hasn’t fully arrived in the GTA series, Rockstar is seemingly testing it with the GTA Plus membership benefits. The pay-to-win situation is something that the community despises and GTA 6 should stay away from it at all costs.
2) Locking content behind a paywall
Unfortunately, Rockstar has already started locking content behind a paywall in Grand Theft Auto Online. This has caused many fans to worry about GTA 6. The studio should drop this idea and ensure that the new game is accessible to all.
3) Excess focus on multiplayer
Many modern AAA titles have the weird obsession of prioritizing multiplayer over the campaign mode. Rockstar was already subject to the ire of fans after canceling all the DLCs for Grand Theft Auto 5. To fix its image, the studio should release GTA 6 Story DLCs in the future.
4) Constant internet connectivity
The gaming community often criticizes various single-player games for requiring internet connectivity. While the requirement is understandable for multiplayer games, story mode games should be playable offline. GTA 6 should also support offline playability at all times.
5) Too much grinding
Many modern AAA games, including Grand Theft Auto Online, require players to do a lot of grinding for basic things. Rockstar should ease up the GTA 6 gameplay mechanics and offer a stress-free gaming experience.
6) Buggy launch
Buggy launches have become a curse for modern gaming, and many AAA games have been criticized for it. However, Rockstar should iron out all issues before releasing GTA 6. Fans will not overlook the studio’s mistakes, considering how the game has been in development for 10 years.
7) Too many updates
Some modern AAA games push too many content updates, making it hard for players to keep up with the timeline. Rockstar should continue with its two major DLCs per year policy in the upcoming game as well.
8) Excessive breakdown of simple things
Many games break down simple things into multiple steps, forcing players to do all of them. While these features are suitable for RP-based gameplay, action-adventure games like GTA 6 should not extensively focus on minor activities.
9) Excessively bigger map
It might seem like the gaming industry is now in a competition to see who creates the biggest map. The Grand Theft Auto 6 map size, on the other hand, should not follow this trend. While fans do want a big map, if the studio goes overboard, this can make traveling and mission times unnecessarily longer.
10) Unnecessary DEI
Diversity, equity, and inclusion should be balanced and not unnecessarily forced on players. Many latest games were criticized for the latter aspect. Grand Theft Auto 6 should stick to its roots while also fairly balancing everything.
