GTA Online this week: 5 best cars to buy include Granger 3600LX, Futo GTX, and more
Here are the five best cars in GTA Online worth buying in Los Santos this week (August 11-14):
1) Annis S80RR
The Annis S80RR is a popular one-seater endurance racing car in the open world of GTA Online, debuting in Los Santos five years ago with The Diamond Casino & Resort update. The vehicle’s design is seemingly based on the real-life Nissan R90C (Group C racing cars by Nissan Motors).
According to the testing done by YouTuber Broughy1322, the S80RR can reach a top speed of 123.00 mph (197.95 km/h) and complete a lap with an average time of 0:59.226, making it one of the fastest vehicles on this list.
Players can claim a 30% discount on the automobile from Test Track and pay only $1,802,500 for it.
2) Declasse Granger 3600LX
The Declasse Granger 3600LX is a four-seater civilian full-size SUV in GTA Online added as part of The Contract update and yet to appear in Grand Theft Auto 6. Its current iteration is based on the real-life 11th-generation Chevrolet Suburban (GMTK2YC).
When it comes to performance, the Granger 3600LX runs on a single-cam V8 engine, allowing it to reach a top speed of 96.75 mph (155.70 km/h) and complete one lap in 1:14.708. The best thing about owning this car is its compatibility with certain weapons, making it the best choice for SUV lovers this week.
It is currently purchasable at a 30% discounted price of $1,400,000-$1,050,000 from Southern San Andreas Super Autos.
3) Ocelot XA-21
The Ocelot XA-21 is one of the vehicles removed from GTA Online as part of the infamous San Andreas Mercenaries update. Debuting originally in 2017 with the Gunrunning DLC, the two-seater hypercar has returned to Los Santos for a limited period.
Unlike the Benefactor Vorschlaghammer, the Jaguar C-X75-based supercar is seemingly powered by two diesel-fed micro gas turbines. According to Broughy1322, the XA-21 can reach a top speed of 122.50 mph (197.14 km/h) and complete a lap in 0:59.927, making it one of the best cars for getaway purposes.
The automobile is also available at a 30% discount till August 14, and players can get it from Test Track (LS Car Meet) for $1,662,500.
4) Declasse Yosemite 1500
The Declasse Yosemite 1500 is a brand-new two-door pickup truck featured this week (August 11-14) at the Luxury Autos Showroom. The off-road vehicle, based on the real-life 1999–2002 Chevrolet Silverado (GMT800), was added to GTA Online as part of the Bottom Dollar Bounties update.
On the performance front, the Yosemite 1500 can reach a top speed of 82.95 mph (133.50 km/h) as per the in-game files; however, the actual on-road performance is quite different. It definitely feels faster than the mentioned speed and is very comfortable to drive off-road, making it the best choice for outdoorsy players in Los Santos.
Players can buy the pickup truck at $1,205,000 from Southern San Andreas Super Autos.
5) Karin Futo GTX
The Karin Futo GTX is a three-door compact sports car in GTA Online based on the real-life 1983-1987 Toyota Sprinter Trueno (AE86) liftback. The two-seater debuted in the game in 2021 with the Los Santos Tuners update.
Powered by a four-cylinder engine with four throttle bodies, the Futo GTX can reach a maximum speed of 119.75 mph (192.72 km/h) and drift around corners with relative ease, making it the best choice for drift enthusiasts.
The latest GTA Online weekly update offers the Futo GTX at a 30% discounted price of $1,113,000-$834,750. Visit the Southern San Andreas Super Autos by August 14 to utilize this offer.
While picking up new rides always depends on one own personal preference, all the aforementioned cars are worth checking out before the next weekly update on August 15, 2024.
