5 best ways to play GTA Online alone (post-Agents of Sabotage DLC)
GTA Online is Grand Theft Auto 5's multiplayer mode, however, several players prefer playing alone. Rockstar Games, too, has added a lot of solo-friendly content to the title over the years, aiding said cause. In fact, new things have been introduced in this category with the recent Agents of Sabotage DLC, which includes heist-like missions as part of a new business.
In this article, we will take a look at five of the best ways to play GTA Online alone after the Agents of Sabotage DLC.

How to play GTA Online alone in the best ways after the Agents of Sabotage DLC
1) Play in an Invite Only session
You can play missions and any other activities that are solo-friendly in Public sessions. However, it is much better when there is absolutely no interference from other players. For that, you must play in an Invite Only session.
The process is extremely straightforward. If joining from GTA 5 story mode, go to the Online tab in the options menu, click on Play GTA Online, and then on Invite Only Session. If you are already in the multiplayer, then once again, go to the Online tab, click on Find New Session, and select Invite Only Session.
2) Play the FIB Files
The FIB Files are a brand-new addition to the game. These are the heist-like missions that were mentioned earlier, and they get unlocked after purchasing the Darnell Bros Garment Factory.
There are only four FIB Files, as of this writing, but all of them are quite fun. Every week, three of them will have a payout of around $150,000; and one will be declared as the Priority File, paying around $300,000. All FIB Files can be completed alone very easily. On top of that, you can earn a bit extra by completing optional objectives in their finales.
3) Play Dispatch Work missions
Dispatch Work missions are perfect if you want to play as a vigilante, and two new missions were added in this category with GTA Online Agents of Sabotage. Each of them pays $25,000 and 500 RP. Dispatch Work missions are assigned by LSPD officer Vincent Effenburger, but can only be accessed when inside a compatible cop car.
Such vehicles can be bought from Warstock Cache and Carry, but note that they are very expensive, costing millions of dollars.
4) Hunt collectibles
There are quite a few collectibles in GTA Online spread across Los Santos and Blaine County. Looking for them can help you get a good look at the map. Numerous collectibles also pay decently, so that is another incentive for finding them in the game.
Doing so can be a bit challenging since their locations aren't marked; However, the new Collectible Scanner for the Benefactor Terrorbyte can help in this aspect to a good extent. This is a new optional upgrade for the vehicle and can be activated while driving it. The scanner marks collectibles like Action Figures, Signal Jammers, Movie Props, and more on the mini-map when they are in the vicinity.
The Snowmen Collectibles event is available, as of this writing, and will be through January 1, 2025, as part of the GTA Online Christmas update 2024.
5) Play The Cayo Perico Heist
The Cayo Perico Heist debuted back in December 2020 but is still one of the best things to do in GTA Online alone. This was the first-ever solo heist added by Rockstar Games, and despite a payout reduction last year, it's great for grinding if you're trying to get rich in the multiplayer.
It takes around an hour and a half to complete and can pay close to, or over, a million dollars, based on the Primary and Secondary Targets. To unlock The Cayo Perico Heist, however, you will first have to meet Miguel Madrazo at The Music Locker and then buy the Kosatka from Warstock Cache and Carry for $2,200,000.
