5 complaints we have about GTA Online that need to be addressed soon
There are several complaints regarding GTA Online at the moment, and these deserve to be addressed as soon as possible. The fan community has often pointed out some inherent flaws with how Grand Theft Auto Online is currently operating, despite the game receiving frequent updates.
For instance, PC players often seem left out of everything, whether it's a simple quality-of-life change or a major subscription service. Hackers run rampant in public sessions, and vehicle prices don't seem to be going down.
In light of that, we've made a list of such issues with GTA Online that most players have complaints about.

5 complaints about GTA Online that need to be looked after
1) PC playerbase always feeling left out
Time and time again, PC players of GTA Online have raised a common complaint — Why does Rockstar seemingly ignore the PC playerbase? Whether it's some new feature (HSW upgrades), an entire upgrade to the game (Expanded and Enhanced Edition), or even quality-of-life features (like the accessibility changes in the Interaction Menu), PC doesn't get any of these.
When it comes to last-gen consoles like the PS4 and Xbox One, Rockstar explains that they're apparently not compatible with the upgraded features. However, this excuse doesn't make sense for PC. Besides, GTA+, Rockstar's very own subscription service, isn't even available on PC, which is quite absurd as well. Finally, Grand Theft Auto 6, their upcoming game, won't be available on PC at launch.
All this makes it clear that PC is still not considered a priority by Rockstar Games and Take-Two, even after so many complaints.
2) Not enough content in new DLCs
The Bottom Dollar Bounties DLC for GTA Online was quite divisive. On the one hand, players found the Bail Bond Bounty Target missions quite fun, and the Vigilante missions (Dispatch Work) were a wonderful addition as well. On the other hand, fans have had several complaints about the DLC being underwhelming. These missions are quite repetitive, and there are not enough of them.
The cooldowns are unnecessarily long, as you can only do one Most Wanted Target mission per day. The payout doesn't justify this cooldown at all, as you get just around $120k for it. If this is the situation with future DLCs for the game, GTA Online may just die out before Grand Theft Auto 6 comes out.
3) Payout nerfs don't make any sense
One of the most lucrative ways to make money in GTA Online was The Cayo Perico Heist. However, Rockstar has nerfed it so much that it's no longer as profitable, and grinding in general is no longer rewarding. While it's true that grinding makes the game seem repetitive, it should be up to the players if they want to grind or not.
There have been many complaints about payouts in the game, and not much has been done to address them. All this makes getting rich in GTA Online in 2024 much more frustrating.
4) Vehicle prices aren't going down
Despite repeated complaints about inflation in GTA Online, the prices of new vehicles don't seem to be decreasing. In fact, if you consider the new purchasable cop cars added alongside the Bottom Dollar Bounties DLC, they're all quite expensive. They cost around $3 to $5 million, and although these cop cars allow you to do Vigilante missions, the price isn't justified by any means.
The different heists and missions don't pay enough, and as mentioned before, Rockstar has nerfed many of these, which makes it all the more difficult to afford such expensive items.
5) No respite from hackers
Hackers are still rampant in GTA Online and Red Dead Online, despite so many complaints, and PC seems to be the most affected platform. This only goes on to enforce the fact that Rockstar equates PC with the last-gen consoles. There haven't been any considerable improvements to the game's anti-cheat system.
Despite regular updates, public sessions are rampant with hackers. As such, the only way to stay safe is to log in to a private/invite-only session.
