5 day-to-day things GTA 6 should allow us to do

The next chapter in the Grand Theft Auto series, GTA 6, is due for release in Fall 2025. The title hasn't been advertised much by its developer, Rockstar Games, with its leaked development footage and debut trailer being the only sneak peaks that we have got so far. Nevertheless, fans believe it could be one of the best video games of all time and have set high expectations for it.

While it is necessary for the Grand Theft Auto sequel's story, characters, and overall gameplay to be worth the long wait, even the smallest elements need to be sharp. This article lists five day-to-day things GTA 6 should allow us to do.

Note - None of the entries on this list have been confirmed for the game yet. This article is subjective and only reflects the writer's opinions.

Participating in lotteries and other day-to-day things GTA 6 should allow us to do

1) Eating and working out

Grand Theft Auto San Andreas features a mechanic wherein its protagonist's physique could be altered based on how much or less he ate and worked out at the gym. Since this also affected stamina and other such in-game stats, it was vital to maintain a balanced routine to stay in shape.

This immersive system was dropped from future entries, but Grand Theft Auto 6 should be the one to bring this day-to-day element back. Lucky for players, some GTA 6 leaks might have hinted at its possible return.

2) Running into unique random events

Random events that players can encounter while free-roaming really help bring an in-game world to life. Rockstar Games' 2018 release, Red Dead Redemption 2, is a great example, and Grand Theft Auto 6 should take inspiration from it.

This means that players should encounter unique random events as they traverse across Leonida day to day. These can include various scenarios, even something like the alligator invasion that was shown in the first GTA 6 trailer, which has now hit 200 million views on YouTube.

3) Participating in lotteries

Grand Theft Auto Online players can visit the Diamond Casino every day and spin its Lucky Wheel once to win from a range of prizes. This is a fun feature that Rockstar Games can consider carrying over to its next release.

Interestingly, a lottery machine was spotted in the upcoming game's trailer, and fans have been wondering if it will be interactable. If that happens to be the case, it functioning like The Lucky Wheel, wherein players get to buy a lottery ticket every day and win a decent amount of cash or other rewards, could be a neat idea.

4) Payphone hits

Payphone assassination missions have been a part of the Grand Theft Auto series for a long time. Its latest iteration, Payphone Hits in Grand Theft Auto Online, are something players can do day to day, wrap up within minutes, and earn a bit of cash.

GTA 6 should also include them, but there should be some new additions to the feature. For instance, along with assassination hits, players could occasionaly be tipped off about a luxury car that they can steal and sell, or shops that they can rob.

Exciting activities like these can contribute in making the game worthwhile, even if the GTA 6 price turns out to be high.

5) Hidden cache

G's cache is a daily event in GTA Online, like the recently added LS Tags locations. Players who are able to find this hidden stash get rewarded with some cash, ammunition, and snacks.

This is a simple day-to-day activity that can also be included in GTA 6, allowing players to restock their equipment daily. The cache can also be made to look like Tiki statues, which would be a nice tribute to the Grand Theft Auto Vice City's Hidden Packages.
