5 game modes that should return in GTA 6
There are tons of game modes in Grand Theft Auto Online that deserve to return in GTA 6. For instance, Slasher, Overtime Rumble, Deadline, and many more are quite popular among fans, even though very few players try them nowadays. Players often forget that these Adversary Modes exist, as they don't come with decent monetary rewards.
It's only when Rockstar Games applies a temporary weekly bonus on a particular game mode that players try them out. If the studio makes these different game modes more rewarding in the next title, they will surely attract a large number of players. This would also make the game less repetitive, as players usually depend a bit too much on heists and businesses.
With this in mind, let’s take a look at the best game modes that deserve to return in GTA 6.

Game modes that GTA 6 should bring back
1) Slasher
There are two teams in this Halloween update game mode — the Slasher, consisting of one player, and the Hunted, having one to seven players.
The Slasher, who starts each round with a Shotgun, has three minutes to wipe out the Flashlight-equipped the Hunted, who has to hide in the dark. After three minutes, the Hunted will also receive Shotguns, giving them ample opportunity to fight back.
To win, one team must wipe out the other; otherwise, both sides will fail. If the Slasher wins, they remain the Slasher for the next round. Meanwhile, if the Hunted kills the Slasher, they become the Slasher in the following round.
2) Deadline
Deadline is a unique take on a motorcycle race and should definitely make its way to GTA 6. This Adversary Mode features up to four players racing in different colored Shotaros (a vehicle based on the Light Cycle from Tron: Legacy). Now, every vehicle will leave behind a temporary light tracer behind them, and the arena in which you'll be riding along is quite open-ended.
This means that each player will have to tactically position themselves in such a way that their opponents get caught in their tracers. You will have multiple lives, and your motorbikes can't be stopped during the round, only slowed down. Whoever survives till the time runs out or has the maximum number of lives is declared the winner.
3) Sumo (Remix)
The Sumo (Remix) should be brought back to GTA 6 as it's one of the most popular game modes from Grand Theft Auto Online. Players will have to stay in a constantly shrinking "Safe Zone" with their vehicles while ramming into each other.
A sudden-death circle will emerge if players from different teams are still alive after the four-minute countdown has elapsed. This circle will gradually shrink until only one team is alive. The platform is placed high above the San Andreas map.
4) Hunting Pack
Hunting Pack can definitely make use of the new map and vehicles in GTA 6. This game mode has three teams — the attackers, the defenders, and the runner.
The runner drives a bomb-rigged utility vehicle while being escorted by the team of defenders (who drive sports or super cars) to a deactivation zone. Meanwhile, the attacker team (also driving sports or super cars) has to force the runner to slow down for a specific amount of time so that their bomb goes off.
5) Overtime Rumble
In the Overtime Rumble game mode, two teams must use their Ruiner 2000s to leap from ramps onto a series of markers. They can utilize the parachute to guide the car into the markers.
Each of these markers has a value ranging from one to five points and is allocated differently on each map. The largest/easiest to get is the one-point marker, whereas the smallest/hardest is the five-point marker. Your car's braking, acceleration, and leaping capabilities are all turned off once you're inside the play area.
It should be noted that this particular game mode had a 2x cash and RP bonus during a recent GTA Online weekly update. These bonuses always brings in a large number of players.
