5 GTA Online challenges not worth doing anymore (2024)
There are many things to do in GTA Online in 2024, such as missions, heists, and running businesses. Challenges are also available in plenty, such as Daily, Weekly, Freemode, as well as Career Progress Challenges. While partaking in them can be fun and also help in making a bit of money at the same time, not all challenges are exactly worth your time and effort.
In this article, we will take a look at five GTA Online challenges that are not worth doing anymore in 2024.

Low Flying Challenge and four other GTA Online challenges not worth doing anymore in 2024
1) Longest Fall Survived Challenge
The Longest Fall Survived Challenge is a part of the game's several Freemode Challenges. For those unaware, these types of challenges can get triggered at any time in a session with multiple players. This particular one requires falling the longest distance without dying.
Basically, it requires you to jump off bridges or buildings without dying and the one at the end of the challenge timer with the longest survived fall distance will be declared winner. It is a kind of silly activity that can be considered fun but is much less exciting than most of its peers. Additionally, a payout of just over $7,000 doesn't seem worth it.
2) Low Flying Challenge
The Low Flying Challenge is another GTA Online Freemode Challenge, and, as the name suggests, it requires flying as low to the ground as possible. The player who flies the longest distance throughout the activity in this manner is declared the winner.
The challenge may seem intriguing, but can get boring as it goes on for 10 minutes and isn't very difficult. In fact, flying near the coastline is the easiest way to beat it since there are little to no buildings in those areas. Additionally, the $13,500 payout makes it feel like a waste of time.
3) San Andreas Mercenaries Tier 4 Career Progress Challenge
Career Progress Challenges are only available in the game's PS5 and Xbox Series X/S versions, aka the Expanded and Enhanced Edition. They are available for jobs like Contact Missions and businesses, and range from Tier 1 to 4.
San Andreas Mercenaries' Tier 4 Challenge requires beating all Project Overthrow missions on Hard without armor or snacks, taking less than 50% damage and with over 80% accuracy. Doing all this can take a really long time and these missions aren't much fun either. So, going through all that for rewards like $150,000 and the LS Angels Hoodie isn't worth it.
The GTA Online Discord Quest, instead, is something that you might enjoy more.
4) The Contract Tier 4 Career Progress Challenge
Beating The Contract's Tier 4 Career Progress Challenge requires unlocking 10 Platinum Rewards for The Contract update, completing 100 Security Contracts on Specialist or the Specialist+ difficulty, making $5,000,000 from Security Contracts, and completing 100 Payphone Hits with Assassination Bonuses.
This challenge will also take a lot of your time and rewards only $250,000 and a Vapid Youga Custom. That type of money can be earned easily via Salvage Yard Robberies more quickly and the free vehicle itself isn't anything special. The latest GTA Online weekly update as of this writing has discounted the Youga Classic 4x4 by 30%, which is a very similar car.
5) Operation Paper Trail Tier 4 Career Progress Challenge
Operation Paper Trail's Tier 4 Career Progress Challenge is the same as that of San Andreas Mercenaries, just with Operation Paper Trail missions in GTA Online. Beating it rewards $150,000 and an IAA Hoodie, which, again, aren't worth all the hard work.
Operation Paper Trail missions themselves are not very interesting. So, you should look towards heists or businesses to earn money and keep yourself entertained while waiting for the GTA 6 release date.
