5 reasons to own Imponte Ruiner ZZ-8 in GTA Online

Rockstar Games introduced the Imponte Ruiner ZZ-8 in GTA Online in August 2022. The vehicle debuted during the continuation of The Criminal Enterprises update and is the newest addition to the game's Imponte Ruiner family so far. It boasts good looks, offers decent performance, and is available at a price that is not exactly cheap but not too expensive either.

While there are many better alternatives out there, if you are interested in this car then there are certain reasons that justify purchasing it. So, let's take a look at five reasons to own an Imponte Ruiner ZZ-8 in GTA Online.

Good customizability and 4 more reasons to own an Imponte Ruiner ZZ-8 in GTA Online

1) The Imponte Ruiner ZZ-8 has a stylish retro design

One of the best things about this car is its appearance. Rockstar Games seems to have based it on the Pontiac Trans Am Gen IV and there really isn't much that separates the in-game ride from the real-life vehicle.

The sleek, aerodynamic body design, and the exaggerated hood vent setup not only make the Ruiner ZZ-8 look stylish but very distinct as well. Its interior is basic but doesn't take away much from this Muscle Car's appeal. So, if you are looking for a stylish ride to drive around, hitting GTA Online LS Tags locations on the way, this one seems like a neat option.

2) Decent for general traversal and free-roaming

According to popular YouTuber Broughy1322's performance tests, the Ruiner ZZ-8 can hit a top speed of 115.75 mph (186.28 km/h) post full upgradation, which is decent. That being said, it accelerates pretty quickly, which, in combination, makes it a good choice for general traversal around the map.

Although it won't win you any races, free-roaming in it when taking a break from jobs like GTA Online Pizza Delivery missions can be enjoyable.

3) The Imponte Ruiner ZZ-8 has good customizability

There are 23 customization categories available for the Ruiner ZZ-8 in GTA Online, and Rockstar Games has made many options available in them. For instance, players have a plethora of choices under sections like front and rear bumpers, hoods, exhausts, skirts, and spoilers.

There are even some liveries to choose from that add that extra level of customization. In a nutshell, players have a lot to play around with and make it suit their taste. It will cost a bit of cash, but that can be earned back quite easily by taking advantage of GTA Online weekly update bonuses.

4) Sounds good

Some players prioritize looks, others go for performance, and there are also those who like their cars loud. If you are one from the final category, then the Imponte Ruiner ZZ-8 shouldn't disappoint.

Its engine roars to life when starting up and emits a raspy noise when being driven, adding just a bit more character to the car. The new Vapid Dominator FX sounds a bit similar as well but is nowhere near as loud.

5) The Imponte Ruiner ZZ-8 is a value-for-money deal

There are three cars in GTA Online's Imponte Ruiner family. One, the standard Ruiner, is no longer purchasable from in-game websites, and the other, the Ruiner 2000, is incredibly expensive. However, if you still want a Pontiac Trans Am in the game and are on a budget, the Ruiner ZZ-8 is the way to go.

It can bought from Southern San Andreas Super Autos for $1,320,000, and its attributes justify the cost to a good extent. That being said, you can also try to win it for free till July 31, 2024, as the GTA Online Podium Vehicle.

The Imponte Ruiner ZZ-8 hasn't been confirmed for Grand Theft Auto 6 yet, unlike many other Grand Theft Auto Online cars. However, it has the potential to be one of the coolest cars in the sequel if it gets added.
