5 things we'd like to see in GTA Online before GTA 6

With GTA Online being ever-popular and GTA 6 still quite far away, there are numerous things fans want Rockstar Games to implement in the online multiplayer mode. It will not only allow the developer to test out the new and upcoming features but also let players try out the fresh stuff and provide feedback. Moreover, it will further improve the current online multiplayer mode.

That said, it can be complicated to pick such features and gameplay mechanics. Hence, this article has prepared a list of things Rockstar Games should bring to GTA Online before adding them to GTA 6.

Note: The article is subjective and based on the writer's opinion.

5 features and things Rockstar should add to GTA Online before GTA 6 rolls out

1) A Micheal De Santa DLC

Michael De Santa is one of the protagonists of the main storyline in GTA 5. While the other two have already appeared in the online multiplayer mode, the retired criminal has yet to do so. Fans have been requesting Rockstar Games to roll out a Michael DLC for quite some time now.

A Michael De Santa DLC will also let Rockstar Games finally bring GTA Online to a proper end rather than leaving it to its fate.

2) Improved cops AI

The police in GTA Online are quite a disappointment since well-armed players can easily get rid of them. The cop AI is also quite ridiculous allowing them to spawn out of thin air which comes in the way of realism. Since GTA 6 is supposed to feature an advanced police AI system, fans would love to see a glimpse of it in GTA Online.

Rockstar Games can implement this new feature or a part of it into the current online multiplayer mode. Not only will it drastically improve the police AI in the game but also let the developer test out the feature and further polish it before implementing it in GTA 6.

3) A crossplay feature between console and PC

Rockstar Games does not allow players on console and PC to play Grand Theft Auto Online together. The lack of a crossplay feature between consoles and PC has been a major drawback of the game and fans would like the developer to add it to the online multiplayer mode.

Since GTA 6 is supposed to roll out for consoles before PC, fans are expecting it to have crossplay letting players across platforms enjoy the game together. GTA Online players would like to get a taste of this feature beforehand. It will also allow Rockstar to see how well the feature is received and if it will work out in the upcoming title.

4) Realistic gun sounds and mechanics

Guns are an integral part of GTA Online and will play an equally important role in the upcoming title as well. Fans are expecting the game to have more realistic weapon mechanics and sound than what the studio offers in the current online multiplayer mode.

That said, they also wish the developer would improve this feature in Grand Theft Auto Online before GTA 6 rolls out. This will significantly improve the game and make it playable for a much longer time even after the next title in the series rolls out. This will especially help out PC players who will not be receiving GTA 6 on day 1.

5) The release of an expanded and enhanced version of the game for PC

Rockstar Games rolled out the E&E (Expanded and Enhanced) version of GTA Online for current-gen consoles (PS5 and Xbox Series X/S). This has drastically improved the quality of the game on these platforms including better graphics and the addition of multiple new features.

Unfortunately, PC players are devoid of this change and are still waiting for the developer to roll out a similar version for them. This will increase the longevity of the game and let PC players experience a similar quality as console players. Doing so before GTA 6 rolls out will be a great consolation for everyone on the platform.
