5 things Rockstar shouldn't change in GTA Online no matter what
Several aspects of GTA Online need change, but some shouldn't be altered in any case. These include useful stuff like drip-feed vehicles, unlockable Trade Prices for many of these vehicles, the Mechanic, LS Car Meets, and more.
Rockstar Games keeps updating Grand Theft Auto Online, adding new features and modifying older ones with every new DLC. They even add new quality-of-life features based on player feedback.
As such, there are some things that most GTA Online players want unchanged, and here's a list of a few of them.
Note: The article is subjective and solely reflects the writer's opinion.
5 things from GTA Online that shouldn't change
1) Drip-feed vehicles
Every new GTA Online content update comes alongside new vehicles, and many of these vehicles follow what is known as the drip-feed process. For instance, the Bottom Dollar Bounties brought forward 16 new vehicles, nine of which Rockstar made available on the launch day.
The rest have been released on a weekly basis, with one new vehicle coming out every following week. This method ensures that a new DLC doesn't get monotonous too quickly, and it should be there in the future as well.
2) Trade Prices
Who doesn't like discounts, whether it's on a real-life purchase or an in-game item in GTA Online? Trade Prices are unlockable discount prices that are applicable on certain vehicles in the game which allow you to get expensive vehicles at somewhat affordable prices. However, Trade Prices have some requirements that you need to meet.
These can involve playing certain missions in a specific manner, which are usually related to these vehicles. Meanwhile, some of the purchasable cop cars simply require you to survive a certain wanted level. This feature shouldn't be removed from the game.
3) Car Meets
The LS Car Meet was added to GTA Online alongside the Los Santos Tuners DLC. This is an indoor location where players can show off their customized rides to the community. The location is completely safe from griefers, as you can't unholster any weapons inside, just like most of your other properties.
Before the LS Car Meet was added, players would hold unofficial car meets in various open spaces around San Andreas, mostly in garages. However, a single griefer could ruin the entire event, which is why car meets in public sessions became a bad idea. As such, this feature shouldn't go away.
4) Mechanic
The Mechanic in GTA Online is your personal employee who delivers any vehicle from your garage to any point on the map, right next to you. The feature is almost magical, and it's one of those things in Grand Theft Auto Online that make no sense. However, it's extremely useful, especially because of how big the map is.
Traversal can be difficult without a vehicle, and having an instant vehicle delivery service is a godsend. This is why the Mechanic needs to always stay in the game no matter what happens.
5) Organizations
CEO Organizations are what truly make you feel like a criminal mastermind in GTA Online. Having your own business, complete with an office, an assistant, and special services befitting a crime boss feels truly immersive, not to mention, quite helpful. You can get different types of helicopters from your office and even request a luxury helicopter at any position on the map.
You can hire other players as bodyguards/associates, play special missions as part of VIP work, and earn bonus RP for everything you do. Organizations are tied to almost all types of properties and are considered necessary for buying any new business added to the game. As such, this is one feature that should remain in the game even after any major changes are made.
