7 things to avoid buying in GTA Online in 2024
There are numerous things to buy in GTA Online such as cars, motorcycles, yachts, apartments, businesses and more. Although the prospect of ownership can be enticing, note that they are not always worth the hefty investment. In fact, one should ideally spend on items that will remain useful in the long run. However, this can be a little tricky due to the litany of available items.
So, for those requiring assistance, here are seven things to avoid buying in GTA Online in 2024.

High-end Apartments and other things to avoid buying in GTA Online in 2024
1) Document Forgery Office
The Document Forgery Office is one of the five MC Businesses in the game and remains the least profitable. Running these businesses can be a chore, which is why it is best to invest your time and money in the best ones such as the Cocaine Lockup, Weed Farm, or Meth Lab.
Notably, owning a Document Forgery Office will reduce the cost of claiming a GTA Online Salvage Yard Robbery vehicle, but that discount is pocket change in the context of this game.
2) Counterfeit Cash Factory
Counterfeit Cash Factory is another one of the five MC Businesses and is slightly more profitable than the previous entry. However, it is still not worth getting in 2024 as there are much more lucrative and profitable GTA Online businesses available like the Acid Lab, Nightclub, and Salvage Yard to name a few.
3) Galaxy Super Yachts
Galaxy Super Yachts are among the most attractive commodities in the game, but they are also incredibly expensive and barely have any use. You can play A Superyacht Life story missions after buying a Yacht, but note that they won't pay much, let alone enough to recoup the investment.
4) High-end Apartments
High-end Apartments, as one would expect, can cost a lot. They are required for playing the original GTA Online heists, but the game now features more profitable alternatives like The Diamond Casino Heist and The Cayo Perico Heist.
Apartments also come with a garage, but that is available in certain businesses as well, and you can buy the Eclipse Blvd 50 Car Garage instead.
5) JoBuilt P-996 LAZER
JoBuilt P-996 LAZER is a fighter jet that looks like Rockstar Games' iteration of the F-16 Fighting Falcon and can be bought for a whopping $6,500,000. Although it is quite fast and can shoot missiles, the Mammoth F-160 Raiju is a much better choice in that price range.
In fact, the F-160 Raiju is significantly faster and even has a Stealth Mode and VTOL. Additionally, you can reduce its cost to $5,141,250 by completing the San Andreas Mercenaries DLC mission - On Parade.
6) Obey Omnis e-GT
Obey Omnis e-GT is a sports car, likely inspired by the Audi e-Tron GT. It is compatible with Imani Tech upgrades and Armor Plating, which once made it worth getting, but that's no longer the case in 2024.
This is because other Imani Tech vehicles like the Bravado Buffalo STX or the Ocelot Virtue are much better options. You can even obtain the Ocelot Virtue for free by completing all Los Santos Drug Wars missions.
7) Overflod Pipistrello
Overflod Pipistrello debuted with the recent Bottom Dollar Bounties DLC and was sort of its flagship addition. Unfortunately, the super car doesn't offer anything to justify its $2,950,000 price tag.
It isn't rapid, and can neither be weaponized nor equipped with modifications like Imani Tech or HSW Performance Upgrades.
You can purchase these items if you have lots of money in GTA Online, but those looking for sustainable, value-for-money deals should steer clear of them.
