7 types of daily activities we'd like to see in GTA 6
While the entire GTA 6 fanbase is primarily focused on how Rockstar Games will approach the main narrative in the upcoming game, the studio should also emphasize side activities. Side or daily activities increase the longevity of a game keeping players engaged for hours. As of now, the community is unaware of what kind of daily activities Rockstar will include in the 2025 title.
Nonetheless, this article lists seven types of daily activities that the game studio should consider adding in GTA 6.
Note: This article is subjective and only reflects the writer’s opinions. The listing is not in any order.
Suggesting 7 types of daily activities that Rockstar Games should add in GTA 6
1) Underground races
Rockstar should consider adding underground races in the upcoming game. Such races usually take place during the nighttime. Since the GTA 6 NPCs drive expensive cars, an underground racing scenario will be quite interesting to witness.
The developer should make this an optional daily activity that players can enjoy whenever they want to take a break from the main storyline. There should also be a sufficient number of races to make the gameplay interesting.
2) House robbery
Robbing random houses is one of the highly-demanded fan-requested features in GTA 6. Rockstar has added house robberies in past GTA titles, and it should not be difficult to include them in the upcoming game.
However, there should be a limit on how many houses players can rob daily. Robbing too many houses on a spree could attract cops and make the activity boring in the long run.
3) Bodybuilding
Being able to stay fit or even customize your physical appearance could add an extra level of immersion to GTA 6. Rockstar should reintroduce bodybuilding in GTA 6 and allow Jason and Lucia to shape their physique accordingly.
Not only can the studio introduce gyms as part of this activity, but they could also make it an interesting mini-game where players will have to exercise in a certain way to get the results they desire.
4) Part-time jobs
Jason and Lucia should be able to do part-time jobs in certain stores and businesses. The GTA 6 leaks showed that the characters could enter and interact with various businesses. Along with robbing, applying for a part-time job should also be added as a feature.
The process could be implemented like GTA Online where the business or the partner contacts players for a membership. However, appearing at the job daily should not be made mandatory as it could hamper the main storyline.
5) Business maintenance
While the fanbase wants to see new businesses in GTA 6, Rockstar Games should make maintaining them a daily activity. Each day, one of the businesses owned by the protagonists could contact them for various maintenance-related activities.
This feature in Grand Theft Auto 5 feels very lackluster and players often tend to ignore it. Therefore, the studio should redesign the gameplay to not make it feel like a boring chore.
6) Delivery jobs
Delivery jobs should be brought back in the series. Such activities were very popular during the 3D Universe era. Rockstar could include paper delivery, parcel delivery, pizza delivery, and various other similar jobs under this category.
The pizza delivery jobs could also be one of the Vice City Easter eggs in GTA 6.
7) Skill improving practices
Activities such as driving, shooting, flying planes, etc. should be turned into daily activities to increase the characters' experience. The special abilities of Jason and Lucia should improve as they engage in more such activities.
Rockstar should add driving schools, flight schools, and shooting ranges in GTA 6 where players can practice for a while to improve character skills.
