The GTA San Andreas Snapshots locations are spread in and around San Fierro. For those wondering, this is a collectible in Rockstar Games' 2004 title and there are 50 of them. Getting them all can familiarize you with the map as well as reward some useful items along with a cash reward. However, as these locations aren't marked on the map, one may find locating them all a tough task.

The GTA San Andreas Snapshots collectible requires taking photographs of round and pink hovering camera icons. Completing this task requires having a camera that can be acquired from the bedroom of protagonist, Carl CJ Johnson's Grove Street safehouse in Los Santos.
Note that one camera can only take a maximum of 36 photographs. And as there are 50 Snapshots to be collected, you'll have to use more than one. Luckily, there are other locations from where you can get the camera, with many of them in San Fierro, such as Cranberry Station, and City Hall. Additionally, after the story mode mission Photo Opportunity, you can take infinite pictures with your camera as long as you don't lose it.

As mentioned, the collectibles will appear as round pink camera icons. These will usually hover high up in the sky or above structures and are only visible when looking through the camera lens.
So, you'll have to look around through the camera to find the collectible upon arriving at the marked Snapshots locations. Make sure that the icon is photographed properly. GTA San Andreas will notify you of the Snapshot count after a picture is taken successfully.

Each Snapshot photograph rewards $100. When all 50 Snapshots have been photographed, you will be rewarded an additional $100,000.
Furthermore, completing this quest spawns some weapons outside CJ's garage in Doherty, San Fierro. These include the Micro SMG, Pump Shotgun, Sniper Rifle, and a Grenade.
