10 of the most disliked things in GTA Online, ranked
Grand Theft Auto 5's multiplayer, GTA Online, has a lot of positives. For instance, it offers the series' action and adventure elements in a multiplayer environment, and Rockstar Games has added fresh content to it regularly over the last decade. However, it cannot be denied that it also has some things that have been troubling players in one way or the other and are highly disliked.
Fans hope for their exclusion from Grand Theft Auto 6's online mode, but Rockstar is yet to officially announce the sequel's multiplayer. While we wait for its showcase, let's look at a ranked list of the 10 most disliked things in GTA Online.

The Orbital Cannon and 9 other of the most disliked things in GTA Online, ranked
10) Cops interfering in PvP
Player vs Player (or simply PvP) is one of the most basic, albeit fun, things in Grand Theft Auto Online. However, using weapons can trigger a wanted level and summon cops. Such an unwanted intervention from the law feels very disruptive and is highly disliked by players.
9) Personal Vehicles spawning far away
GTA Online players can request the delivery of a Personal Vehicle at their location via the Interaction Menu or from their mechanic over the phone.
Unfortunately, the requested vehicle often spawns far away, which somewhat defeats the purpose of this feature. The frequency at which this happens makes it a lot more annoying as well.
8) Cooldowns
There are many ways to earn money in Grand Theft Auto Online, but some of the best options can only be repeated after a lengthy cooldown period. Even Low-paying options, like the recently added Dispatch Work missions, are separated by a five-minute cooldown, which really doesn't make much sense and is essentially an unnecessary restriction.
7) Notification spam
GTA Online players get spammed with notifications, emails, messages, and phone calls from characters right as they join an online session. The fact that it happens every time makes it even more frustrating. The community has complained about it for a long time but to no avail so far.
6) Body armor
Body armor is meant to add an extra layer of protection, but destroying even the best one in GTA Online takes around two hits. The fact that you can carry only 10 armors at once, run through them quickly, and then have to go out and buy more is among the worst things about this game.
5) GTA +
GTA + is a subscription service for the game's PS5 and Xbox Series X/S versions and it charges a monthly fee. Several players dislike it because it offers subscribers some fixed as well as rotating benefits, like free cars, services, and cash, promoting a pay-to-win model.
Needless to say, this is unfair to those who play the game the way it is meant to be and many are also concerned about how it might affect Grand Theft Auto 6.
4) Orbital Cannon
Griefers are a big problem in Grand Theft Auto Online and the Orbital Cannon is a tool that facilitates their toxic behavior. For those unaware, it can be used to target and attack any player in a session with an aerial strike.
That said, Rockstar has taken steps to nerf the Orbital Cannon, which has worked to some degree. This is the only reason why it hasn't ranked any higher on this list.
3) Shark Cards
Shark Cards (an in-game currency) are among the most hated things about GTA Online. Players can purchase them with real money and get big amounts of in-game cash without any hard work.
Similar to GTA +, Shark Cards are unfair to players who just want to engage with in-game activities and spend hours grinding. However, the subscription service at least offers some free Rockstar titles as well, which is much better than Shark Cards openly promoting pay-to-win.
2) NPC aimbot
GTA Online's NPCs can gun you down within seconds. While a bit of challenge is always fun, getting shot at accurately, even from an absurd distance is very frustrating. And since missions are the most integral aspect of this game, you will have to go up against aimbot NPCs regularly.
1) Pegassi Oppressor MK II
The Oppressor MK II is a flying bike that can shoot guided missiles. Although it sounds fun, this overpowered and hard-to-counter vehicle has facilitated griefers like nothing else and has become the most hated thing in this game.
Additionally, futuristic vehicles as such typically don't fit within a Grand Theft Auto setting, which is another reason why long-term fans dislike it.
