GTA 4 PS3 guide

Grand Theft Auto 4 remains in the hearts of veteran fans, and this GTA 4 PS3 guide will revive some of the old memories from the game. Rockstar Games released the game on the PlayStation 3 in April 2008, and unfortunately, it is the only PlayStation console where you can play the game. While the gaming studio has yet to release a remastered version of the game for modern consoles, Sony also does not allow backward compatibility.

Nonetheless, this GTA 4 PS3 guide will help both old and new players understand the basic structure of the game.

Note: Some parts of this GTA 4 PS3 guide are subjective and only reflect the writer’s opinions.

GTA 4 has one of the lengthiest and most thought-provoking stories in the entire Grand Theft Auto series. If you play the game non-stop, it will take you around 13 hours to complete the main storyline. Eventually, fishing the game to the fullest will take more time. Therefore, if you are looking to play something major before Rockstar releases its next project, the GTA 4 PS3 guide advises you to get started with the 2008 title as soon as possible.

Grand Theft Auto 4 takes you back to Liberty City. However, it is set up in a different universe than the previous titles. The 2008 video game was Rockstar’s entry into the HD era of gaming. As a result, the new Liberty City is more detailed and has many resemblances with the real-life New York.

You get to play as Niko Bellic who comes to the USA as an immigrant. Rockstar Games included 91 story missions to tell you the tale of the protagonist. However, GTA 4 PS3 guide readers should note that they also get two story DLC expansions with the game.

The Lost and Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony are two of the hidden gems in Grand Theft Auto 4. They include a total of 48 DLC missions and two new protagonists named Jonathan "Johnny" Klebitz and Luis Fernando Lopez.

Now that you have learned the basic details about the game, the GTA 4 PS3 guide will discuss the following things moving forward:

  • Main story missions
  • DLC missions
  • Side missions and activities
  • Best vehicles to drive
  • Cheat codes and
  • Conditions for 100 percent completion

But, before that, if you are a parent and your kid(s) want to play the game, we suggest you read the Grand Theft Auto 4 parents guide.
