GTA 5 trophy guide (PS3, PS4, and PS5)
While the GTA 5 trophy guide has been discussed for the past decade, many PlayStation players still find it difficult to fully grasp it. Rockstar Games added a lot of trophies for PS3, PS4, and PS5 versions of Grand Theft Auto 5, allowing achievement hunters to stay invested in the game for quite some time. However, unlocking each of them without knowing exactly what to do will take a lot of time.
That's why a complete GTA 5 trophy guide is required to unlock each achievement as quickly as possible. Keep in mind that the achievements are the same across all PlayStation platforms, i.e., PS3, PS4, and PS5. That said, this article will serve all PlayStation users who are looking to unlock every possible achievement available for GTA 5.
Note: The GTA 5 trophy guide suggests not to use cheat codes in the story mode as it may prevent unlocking certain achievements in the game. The article only focuses on the base game trophies.

GTA 5 trophy guide: Some useful tips or things to know before starting the achievement-hunting journey
Create a Rockstar Games Social Club account to help you check your progress. It will also give access to an Interactive Map, helping you to collect everything available in the game.
After failing a mission three times, you may see an option to skip some parts of it. Do not skip any of the missions as it may not give you the related trophy. Always restart the mission from the beginning if you fail it.
Moreover, there are three possible endings for the game, and each selection will prevent you from unlocking several trophies:
- Ending A - 5 trophies
- Ending B - 2 trophies
- Ending C - 2 trophies
It is recommended to have an extra save game file before choosing an ending to unlock each trophy as quickly as possible without playing the whole game again.
