How to get Canis Castigator in GTA Online before it releases?

Canis Castigator is an SUV that's yet to be added as a purchasable vehicle on any GTA Online website. Data miners found it in the Bottom Dollar Bounties update's drip feed and expect it could cost $1,650,000 on Southern San Andreas Super Autos. Drip-feed vehicles are released gradually after an update's launch, but there's no way to tell exactly when a particular car will be released.

However, popular Grand Theft Auto YouTuber Digital Car Addict recently revealed a method through which you can get this unreleased SUV early. For those interested, here's how to get the Canis Castigator in GTA Online before it releases.

Note: This method works as of writing this article but might get patched in the future.

GTA Online's PS5 and Xbox Series X/S version features a Career Progress tab that presents four challenge tiers related to missions and businesses. Different rewards are offered for beating them, with new challenges and rewards usually being added with major DLCs.

The Bottom Dollar Bounties update, released on June 25, 2024, did just that, and its Career Progress' Business section features Canis Castigator as the Tier 4 reward. This means those who complete all Tier 4 Bottom Dollar Bounties challenges will get the unreleased SUV for free.

The related Tier 4 Career Progress challenges can be seen in the following image:

They involve the new Bottom Dollar Bail Enforcement business you can buy from Maze Bank Foreclosures.

Once all these Career Progress challenges are complete, which will take some time, you should get the unreleased Canis Castigator as a free reward. Interestingly, those who don't wish to complete these challenges can buy the new GTA Online SUV from any other player who owns it at the LS Car Meet.

Players' vehicles can be purchased at the LS Car Meet by standing near them and pressing the button prompted in the top-left corner. This car should cost $1,650,000, as mentioned, but you might be charged a little more if the player you are buying it from has applied customizations.

Unfortunately, since Career Progress is only available in GTA Online on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, these methods of getting the Canis Castigator early will only work on Current-Gen consoles. PS4, Xbox One, and PC players will have to wait for it to be released officially.

Besides the Canis Castigator, there are a few more cars as well as missions in the Bottom Dollar Bounties update drip feed. In fact, some of them are seemingly inspired by activities from past Grand Theft Auto titles.
