Nearly 10,000 GTA 6 fans want YouTuber Jeremy Fragrance in the new Vice City
A large number of fans have signed a petition to add YouTuber Jeremy Fragrance to GTA 6. It should be noted that this is not a serious petition and is more of a joke, but the fact that so many fans have turned up for it is quite hilarious indeed. Grand Theft Auto 6 is coming out in Fall 2025, so there's not much time left before its release. This also means that Rockstar isn't going to add a whole new character to the game right now.
As such, even if this petition was taken seriously, it wouldn't lead to any changes to the storyline. However, there's a slim chance that its multiplayer mode, just like Grand Theft Auto Online, can introduce characters or people that fans want to see. Nevertheless, here's what you need to know about the petition to add Jeremy Fragrance to GTA 6.
GTA 6 petition asks for Jeremy Fragrance in the game
Jeremy Fragrance, whose real name is Daniel Schütz, is a German social media personality and YouTuber who, as his alias indicates, makes videos on perfumes and fragrances. With over 2.41 million subscribers and around 355 million views, he is one of the biggest fragrance YouTubers at the moment. He's also quite big on Instagram and TikTok, with 3 million and 9.4 million followers on these platforms, respectively.
The petition to add Jeremy Fragrance to Grand Theft Auto 6 has been growing considerably since the YouTuber's brother, Kamil Banc, started it on July 30, 2024. The Change.org petition had over 9,000 signatures in just two weeks, as it wants to make Grand Theft Auto 6 the "best-smelling game of all time." Banc even made a YouTube video explaining why his brother would fit perfectly in the upcoming Rockstar Games title.
He said that Jeremy Fragrance has a residence in Ocean Drive, and even has the Florida Man energy that Leonida denizens are expected to have. All of these, he believes, will make him the perfect candidate to be a GTA 6 NPC, who will possibly even provide Fragrance-themed missions in the game. Blanc proposed missions in which players would out-pose rival influencers or even steal perfume shipments, in true Grand Theft Auto fashion.
Surprisingly, they've even done some motion capture work for Jeremy Fragrance's in-game character. Near the end of his video, Blanc clarified that this is just a joke, but the fact that this petition has already garnered 10,000 signatures means that it's one of the biggest GTA 6 petitions on Change.org. Fans have been coming up with many ideas for missions in GTA 6, but this has got to be one of the wildest ones yet.
