All freebies and weekly bonuses in the new GTA Online update (December 20 to January 1, 2025)
A fresh GTA Online update was just released on December 19, 2024, kick-starting the Holiday season in Los Santos. From the time of writing, till January 1, 2025, all players can enjoy festive-themed bonuses and events, including the Snowmen collectibles and Yeti Hunt. However, Rockstar Games is also currently giving out several freebies to players without the need for any additional subscription like GTA+.
All one has to do is log in to receive these items. Moreover, the developers are also providing certain in-game bonuses that one can take advantage of, while the snow event is going on. Read on to learn what exactly gamers can get by playing the game in the next two weeks.
GTA Online update: Freebies include the new Festive Penguin Onesie, and more (December 20 to January 1, 2025)
The new GTA Online weekly update provides the following items for free upon logging in to any multiplayer lobby by January 1, 2025:
- Festive Penguin Onesie
- Gold Reindeer Pendant
- Gold Star Fitted Jacket
- Gold Star Fitted Pants
- Firework Launcher (20 rockets)
- Snowball Launcher
- Full Ammo, Snacks, and Armor
Moreover, the Happy Holidays Hauler is back with the GTA Online update, dropping more free items, which players can pick up. These include:
- Cash
- RP
- Snack
- Ammo Refills
- eCola Festive Sweater
- Sprunk Festive Sweater
Gamers can also get a free Santa’s Helper Finish for Heavy Sniper by winning a match of Entourage (Festive Remix) as Santa. Apart from the freebies, there are additional in-game bonuses, that can be claimed to fully enjoy the holiday season in Los Santos.
GTA Online update: Weekly bonuses are applicable on Garment Factory passive income, and more (December 20 to January 1, 2025)
Rockstar Games has made the Darnell Bros Garment Factory business more enticing to run, by providing a 2x boost to the passive income it generates. While it’s available only for a limited time, it gives gamers a reason to invest in the new content added with the Agents of Sabotage DLC.
Moreover, the following weekly bonuses can be claimed till January 1, 2025:
