GTA 5 RP FiveM server now supports Bottom Dollar Bounties and more
GTA 5 RP (roleplaying) servers added a new and unique dimension to the 2013 title's gameplay. For those unaware, these are unofficial multiplayer servers hosted on mod clients like FiveM. This mod client's developer, Cfx.re (that was acquired by Rockstar Games in 2023), has now added support for Bottom Dollar Bounties (Grand Theft Auto Online's 2024 summer update) on a FiveM channel, as revealed in its latest Community Pulse blog.
A few other interesting changes and additions were also mentioned in the same blog, such as a new feature in FiveM's Busted mode, updates on the txAdmin tool, a fuel consumption system, as well as several Game Client and server changes.
GTA 5 RP FiveM's Canary update channel now supports the Bottom Dollar Bounties update
Cfx.re has added support for Bottom Dollar Bounties on FiveM's Canary update channel. Grand Theft Auto 5 gets a title update with every DLC's release, even though they are for its multiplayer. Adding support for Bottom Dollar Bounties ensures that everything is up to date and runs smoothly.
Other notable changes include the addition of a freeroam mode to GTA 5 RP FiveM's Busted. This server offers a Cops and Robbers game mode as well wherein, as cops, you must apprehend criminals within a time limit, and, as robbers, must evade law enforcement.
A new Fuel Consumption System has also been added to FiveM. This means that users can now enable the same for Grand Theft Auto 5 cars and even customize it to suit their preferences in GTA 5 RP servers.
Interestingly, there are rumors of a fuel consumption system in Grand Theft Auto 6, but not all in the Grand Theft Auto community seem to be a fan of the idea. That said, Rockstar Games hasn't provided any confirmation on it as of this writing and even the upcoming title's leaked development footage didn't hint at it either.
Coming back to FiveM, the txAdmin tool, used for managing admin-related actions, has received some updates. For instance, its dashboard has been rebuilt and has new charts that should offer better server-related insights.
Ban templates have also been added to txAdmin along with a UI lag fix and various other many other tweaks to deliver a smooth experience overall.
