GTA 6 "will blow people away" as per an ex-Rockstar designer

Rockstar Games' massively anticipated title, Grand Theft Auto 6 (or simply GTA 6), is currently set to launch at some point in Fall 2025. While fans await its next trailer, a former Rockstar employee, Ben Hinchliffe, who has worked on the upcoming title according to his LinkedIn profile, has raised the excitement quite a bit.

During an interview with the YouTube channel GTAVIoclock, Ben, who worked as a Game Designer with Rockstar until May 2022, stated that GTA 6 "will blow people away". Here's what he said when asked if the title will surprise people:

"Yeah I mean, you only have to look at, you know, how every game Rockstar has done has evolved in some way, and you could argue like say that mantra before that every element of the game moves forwards in terms of it feeling more realistic, and people acting and behaving more realistic as every game is iterated through each cycle, so I just think people, again, it will blow people away"

The ex-Game Designer at Rockstar continued by stating that he believed that Rockstar had raised the bar once again. Hinchliffe seemed really excited to see people get their hands on the title:

"I'm really really like excited for people to get their hands on it and get in and play it, just because I think they've raised the bar again, just, they always do and I just think they have done again with GTA 6."

Whether Ben Hinchliffe's belief turns out to be true remains to be seen, as we currently have only gotten a glimpse of the title via its first official trailer released last year. As for GTA 6 trailer 2, fans believe that it might be here soon.

Ex-Rockstar Games designer has high hopes for GTA 6

Ben was also asked about what he was excited for the most regarding GTA 6, and here's what he said:

"I think just seeing when I left, where it was and playing that final version, how much, if anythingahas changed, how much things have changed, um, you know obviously I was privy to a lot of new things and content and story and stuff, so I just love to know where, how that's evolved and how its come out at the other end, and I just can't wait to play it, just uh, yeah I'm really really looking forward to it"

As stated earlier, GTA 6's release window is set for Fall 2025, but not much has been revealed officially. Some fans believe we might get more information as Take-Two Interactive's next earnings call nears. The earnings will be out in a few days from now, so we won't have to wait long to find out if that will be the case.
