GTA Online Podium Vehicle & Prize Ride (August 15 to 21, 2024)

With a brand new weekly update today, Rockstar Games has once again shuffled the GTA Online Podium Vehicle and Prize Ride cars for the next seven days. From now until August 21, 2024, players have the opportunity to get a free Declasse Walton L35, a 2-door lifted pickup truck, as the podium vehicle. All they need to do is visit The Diamond Casino & Resort and spin the Lucky Wheel once every 24 hours until they win it.

Additionally, a popular two-door supercar, the Pegassi Tempesta, can be claimed as this week’s Prize Ride in Los Santos. To acquire this vehicle, players only need to compete in the LS Car Meet Series and finish in the top 3 for three days in a row.

This article shares a quick overview of the new GTA Online Podium Vehicle and the Prize Ride car.

GTA Online Podium Vehicle till August 21, 2024: Walton L35

The GTA Online weekly update released earlier today by Rockstar Games has brought the Declasse Walton L35 back into the limelight as the new GTA Online Podium Vehicle. Gamers are now allowed to collect the vehicle for free if they haven’t already. The Walton L35, which resembles the real-life 1991-1993 Chevrolet S-10, debuted in Los Santos in 2023 as part of the infamous San Andreas Mercenaries DLC. The ride also seems to have taken design inspiration from the fourth-generation Toyota Hilux for its rear fascia.

According to Broughy1322, the Walton L35 can reach a top speed of 105.25 mph (169.38 km/h) and complete one lap in 1:09.337. For off-road lovers and outdoorsy players, this vehicle is a must-own.

Prize Ride of the Week: Pegassi Tempesta

The Pegassi Tempesta is another popular car in Grand Theft Auto Online. The two-seater supercar debuted in 2016 with the Import/Export update. The vehicle is heavily rumored to return in Grand Theft Auto 6.

The current iteration of the Tempesta is based on the following real-life automobiles:

  • Lamborghini Huracán - Overall design
  • Lamborghini Centenario - Side profiling
  • Second-generation Ford GT - Rear arches and side intakes
  • 2010 Lotus Esprit concept - Rear fascia
  • 2013 Lotus Elan concept - Headlights

Unlike the Pegassi Pizza Boy, the Tempesta can reach a maximum speed of 121.25 mph (195.13 km/h) and complete a lap in just 1:00.803, making it one of the best non-HSW supercars in the game.

Rockstar will change the GTA Online Podium Vehicle and Prize Ride car next week on August 22, 2024.
