GTA Online's Overflod Pipistrello is somewhat broken, as per popular analyst

Overflod Pipistrello is one of the brand-new cars just added last month in GTA Online as part of the Bottom Dollar Bounties DLC update. The two-seater all-electric supercar is mostly based on the real-life 2023 Estrema Fulminea and gives a decent performance. The vehicle was exclusive to GTA+ subscribers until July 3, 2024, afterwards, it became available for everyone.

GTA Online’s Pipistrello is so far considered to be a decent performer; however, there is one major flaw in the vehicle that players might not know about. Popular analyst and YouTuber Broughy1322 just posted a detailed analysis of the Overlod Pipistrello’s problem with spoilers and how it affects its performance. Read on to learn more.

Overflod Pipistrello in GTA Online is good until you put a spoiler on it: Report

As can be seen above in the YouTube video, Broughy1322 analyzed the performance of the Overflod Pipistrello in GTA Online. After testing it for a while, here’s what he finds about the supercar:

  • It can reach a top speed of 189.50 km/h (117.75 mph), giving it 58th rank among the supercars in terms of maximum speed.
  • It can complete one lap in an average time of 0:58.541, making it the 8th quickest supercar in Grand Theft Auto Online.

According to the Broughy1322, the vehicle’s pre-equipped active spoiler places it among the top 10 supercars despite having one of the worst top speeds in the class. Its decent acceleration combined with a great grip makes it easy to take corners. However, a “fatal flaw” was found by the analyst when they tried to swap the active spoiler with an aftermarket one.

When players add a spoiler to Overflod Pipistrello from LS Customs or any other customization shop, it reduces the vehicle’s grip and affects its lap time instead of improving it. Currently, the bug is only related to this particular vehicle and doesn’t affect any other automobile from the Bottom Dollar Bounties DLC such as the Enus Paragon S.

If you own the Pipistrello, it is recommended not to put a custom spoiler on it until the issue is fixed. Fans can expect Rockstar to fix this issue silently with a background update soon.
