New GTA 6 trailer 2 theory by fans suggests a December 27 release date
In the last couple of months, fans have come up with various GTA 6 trailer 2 theories, especially the moon theory. While Rockstar Games hasn’t released the second trailer yet, another theory surrounding it has been surfacing on social media. According to this new theory, the much-anticipated second trailer of Grand Theft Auto may release on December 27, 2024.

New GTA 6 trailer 2 theory: New Rockstar Games merchandise kick-started it all
As can be seen above, some of the Rockstar Games developers shared a picture of new merchandise by the company a couple of days ago on X. Fans noticed a few things in the picture that started the new GTA 6 trailer theory. One fan, @cyberbuiuk, suggested that the note in the picture highlights the number 27, which may lead to something.
According to them, here are a few key things highlighted in the Rockstar dev’s post:
- A phone number that leads to Auto 27, located on Highway 27, Florida
- The dev is supposedly going to the Loews Hotel on December 27
Another fan account, @GTAVI_Countdown, also highlighted these things, and added more to it:
“On the same road, there are 2 locations named ‘Jason’ Deli and Villa ‘Lucia’”
While this could just be a coincidence, other fans began noticing a pattern surrounding the number 27. @NikTek shared a screenshot of Rockstar Games’ Instagram account and highlighted that the total number of their posts was 27:
Popular YouTuber TGG also reported that Rockstar Games was founded on December 27, 1998. With number 27 highlighted again, the GTA 6 trailer 2 release date theory gained more fire.
@cyberbuiuk again posted on X, highlighting a still from the first trailer of Grand Theft Auto 6 at the 27 seconds time-stamp, where the number 27 can be seen on a car’s window.
Do note that these theories are mere speculations and can’t be considered evidence of any inside information. However, Rockstar is expected to release the second trailer of the upcoming Grand Theft Auto game sooner or later.
