Top 10 things every solo GTA Online player must own (July 2024)

GTA Online is the fifth edition's multiplayer mode, but it has become more of a single-player experience off late. A big reason for that is griefers, hackers, and modders wreaking havoc in Public sessions, which is why many now prefer playing solo in Invite Only sessions, without any interference.

Rockstar Games has also helped with the transition by adding a lot more solo-friendly content over the years. This article will dive into the top 10 things every solo GTA Online player must own.

Cop cars debuted recently and can be used for Vincent Effenburger's Dispatch Work. This activity resembles Vigilante Missions from past Grand Theft Auto titles and pays $25,000 per job.

The payout is not high, especially considering that cop cars cost millions of dollars, but this is the most recent content in the game as of this writing. Regardless of the payout, this content is fun.

9) Bottom Dollar Bail Enforcement

Bottom Dollar Bail Enforcement is GTA Online's newest business. It doesn't pay much, but more than Dispatch Work, and its missions overall, especially the Most Wanted Targets. Furthermore, hiring Agents opens up an avenue for passive income.

8) Bunker

Bunkers are used for gunrunning and are highly profitable. Players need to refill it now and then, and sell whenever sufficient product is ready. Developers have also increased this business' sell mission timer by 50% for solo players, making the operation a little easier.

However, Solo players must sell in small batches as more product means multiple sale vehicles, which can make things tricky.

7) Nightclub

The Nightclub is a passive business, meaning it will make money while you are busy doing something else. Maintaining a high popularity is the only prerequisite, which is incredibly easy to achieve.

The Nightclub Warehouse can make you extra money by working in tandem with certain other owned GTA Online businesses.

6) Salvage Yard

Buying a Salvage Yard unlocks Salvage Yard Robberies, that every solo GTA Online player can complete easily and earn well over $200,000 by selling the stolen car.

The Salvage Yard also has a safe that generates passive income, and an optional Tow Truck upgrade whose missions pay a decent amount. Overall, this business is more fun and engaging than the last few entries.

5) Celebrity Solutions Agency

The Celebrity Solutions Agency has a VIP Contract that solo GTA Online players can complete in a few hours and walk away with a million-dollar payout every time.

This business offers some Security Contracts as well, that pay decently, and features a sizeable vehicle garage.

4) Kosatka submarine

Purchasing the $2,200,000 Kosatka submarine unlocks The Cayo Perico Heist, one of the only two major solo heists in GTA Online as of this writing.

It is quicker to beat than the VIP Contract and can even pay over a million with the right Primary and Secondary Targets.

3) Pegassi Oppressor MK II

The Oppressor MK II is a weaponized hoverbike that can be bought for $8,000,000 or its $6,000,000 Trade Price. It is one of the most controversial vehicles in the game but is highly useful for grinding businesses, various GTA Online missions, and traveling.

2) Armored Karin Kuruma

The Armored Karin Kuruma is a sports car with near-complete bulletproof windows on all sides. It is among the best vehicles for missions and heist setups because of this, and even beginners should be able to afford its $698,250 price tag or the $525,000 Trade Price.

1) Bravado Buffalo STX

The Bravado Buffalo STX is a Muscle Car with great top speed and bullet-resistant windows on all sides. It can even be equipped with machine guns, as well as Imani Tech upgrades and Armor Plating at your Agency's vehicle workshop.

These things make the Buffalo STX a highly secure ride for every solo GTA Online player in Public or Invite Only sessions.
