FIH Pro League 2024: Great Britain vs India preview, prediction and live streaming details
Great Britain will be going up against India in the 59th Men’s FIH Pro League 2024 match at Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, London on Sunday, June 9.
Great Britain lost their ninth game against Australia 3-2 after four consecutive wins. Furlong Gareth scored a penalty corner for Britain in the seventh minute but Govers Blake leveled the scores in the 12th minute.
Wallace Zachary scored a field goal for Britain in the first quarter to take a 2-1 lead. However, Wickham Tom struck a field goal for Australia, followed by another penalty corner goal from Blake, which helped them grab a comfortable win.
On the other hand, India also lost against Germany 3-2 in the previous encounter. Peillat Gonzalo and Rühr Christopher scored a penalty corner and field goal each to take a 2-0 lead in the first quarter.
Indian skipper Harmanpreet Singh netted a penalty corner in the second quarter but Gonzalo counter-attacked with another corner goal in the 33rd minute. Singh Sukhjeet of India scored a field goal in the fourth half but it went in vain as Germany won.
