The Indian junior hockey team (U21) will chase glory at the Sultan of Johor Cup 2024. The young guns will hope to continue Indian hockey's golden run initiated by the senior men's team at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
The tournament will be played in Malaysia from October 19 to October 26. PR Sreejesh will take on his first major assignment as the team's coach. India enter the competition as strong contenders after having won the bronze medal at the Sultan of Johor Cup 2023.
The 18-member squad would embark on the journey with a dream of bettering the color of their previous medal. They will be led by defender Amir Ali, with Rohit serving as his deputy.
