Team Gonasika squad for Hockey India League 2024-25: Full list of players after HIL Auction ft. Mandeep Singh & Manpreet Singh
Team Gonasika secured the services of Indian forward Mandeep Singh and midfielder Manpreet Singh for ₹25 lakh and ₹42 lakh, respectively, at the Hockey India League (HIL) 2024-25 auction.
They also bought Indian defenders Nilam Sanjeep Xess (₹17 lakh), Amir Ali (₹34 lakh), Yogember Rawat (₹11 lakh), Birendra Lakra (₹10 lakh), Dipsan Tirkey (₹6.6 lakh), and Anmol Ekka (₹9.2 lakh). Australian defender Timothy Howard will ply his trade for Team Gonasika, having secured his services for ₹20 lakh.
Vishnukant Singh (₹20 lakh), Lee Moton (₹10 lakh), Jack Waller (₹10 lakh), Jacob Draper (₹5 lakh), Mustapha Cassiem (₹7.2 lakh), Yashdeep Siwach (₹9 lakh), and SK Uthappa (₹13 lakh) are the midfielders in the squad for Hockey India League 2024-25.
They spent a whopping amount of ₹42 lakh on Araijeet Singh Hundal. Overseas forwards Jeroen Hertzberger and Tom Boon were signed for ₹21 lakh and ₹26 lakh, respectively.
SV Sunil, and Nikkin Thimmaiah are the two former Indian national team players in the squad. Kamalbir Singh, Suraj Karkera, and Oliver Payne are the three goalkeepers in the team.
