UP Rudras squad for Hockey India League 2024-25: Full list of players after HIL Auction ft. Lalit Upadhyay & Hardik Singh

UP Rudras have formed a formidable squad for the revamped Hockey India League 2024-25. They have snapped up the services of Indian midfielder Hardik Singh for ₹70 lakh and forward Lalit Kumar Upadhyay for ₹28 lakh.

Surender Kumar (₹14 lakh), Priyobarta Talem (₹9 lakh), Sharda Nand Tiwari (₹7.5 lakh), Sunil Jojo (₹2 lakh) and Prashant Barla (₹7.5 lakh) are a few Indian defenders signed by the Uttar Pradesh-based club at the Hockey India League 2024 player auction.

Akashdeep Singh (₹20 lakh), Simranjeet Singh (₹10 lakh), Manmeet Singh (₹16 lakh), and Jobanpreet Singh (₹7.5 lakh) are the four other Indian midfielders alongside Hardik Singh in the Rudras' squad.

Their Indian forwards include Gurjot Singh (₹14.5 lakh), Mohd. Zaid Khan (₹2.9 lakh), and Sudeep Chirmako (₹12 lakh).

UP Rudras' goalkeepers for the Hockey India League 2024-25 are Indian goalies Prashant Kumar Chauhan (₹5 lakh), Pankaj Kumar Rajak (₹6.5 lakh) and English player James Mazarelo (₹13 lakh).

The newly-formed franchise's remaining overseas signings include defenders, Kane Russell, Lars Balk, and Marc Recasens, midfielders Floris Wortelboer and Seve Van Ass, forwards Alvaro Iglesias and Tanguy Cosyns.
