Calcutta Football League 2024 Points Table: Updated standings on July 19
On Friday, July 19, Army Red drew with Kalighat Milan Sangha in the 61st match of the Calcutta Football League 2024. Later, Suruchi Sangha beat BSS Sporting Club in the 62nd, and Diamond Harbour FC crushed Measurers Club in the next.
Diamond Harbour FC registered their fourth win against Measurers Club 7-1 to move from third to the top spot with 13 points. Rahul Kumar Paswan and Justin Jobby netted two goals each while Supriya Pandit, Aimar, and Kuki L scored one goal apiece.
Similarly, Suruchi Sangha secured their fourth win over BSS Sporting Club by a 3-0 scoreline and retained their second position with 13 points. Debjit Basak, Abusufian Sk and Jaideep Singh scored one goal apiece for Suruchi.
Mohammedan SC dropped from the top to third position with three wins in five games. They have 10 points in their account and a goal difference of nine.
United SC, Kidderpore and Aryan remain in the next three positions with nine, eight and seven points, respectively.
Kalighat drew their last game against Army Red 0-0 on Friday. They jumped from ninth position to seventh, having a goal difference of 0 and six points in their account.
BSS Sporting dropped from seventh to eighth after their previous loss against Suruchi Sangha. Similarly, Measurers Club lost to Diamond Harbour to descend to ninth position with four losses in six games.
Army Red and Southern Samity interchanged their positions to 10th and 11th after the former drew with Kalighat MS.
Meanwhile, Wari and Patha Chakra continue to languish at the bottom of the points table, eyeing their first win in the upcoming game.
