Calcutta Football League 2024 Points Table: Updated standings on July 9
Suruchi Sangha are placed at the top of the Calcutta Football League 2024 points table with 10 points in their tally. They won their last game against Patha Chakra 2-0.
After a 1-2 loss against Kalighat, Mohammedan SC won their last game against Army Red 3-1. Israfil Dewann scored two goals in the first half and Thokchom Singh netted one in the second half. They jumped from seventh to second position with two wins and a draw in four matches.
Diamond Harbour FC dropped to third in the points table with a goal difference of two and seven points. They beat Aryan Club 1-0 in the previous match. Similarly, the Aryan Club moved down from third to fourth. With a goal difference of five, they have lost two matches, including the most recent one, out of their four matches and won as many.
United SC also took long a leap after defeating Measures Club 2-0. They ascended from ninth position to fifth with six points and a goal difference of one.
BSS Sporting dropped from fourth to sixth with two draws in three games while Kidderpore also slipped from fifth to seventh, having drawn two games.
Similarly, Kalighat descended from sixth to eighth. They have drawn two out of their four games, including the recent one against Kiddepore (0-0), and lost one.
Southern Samity rocketed from 12th rank to ninth with two draws and one loss in four games. They defeated Wari Athletic Club (3-0) in the most recent game.
Army Red descended from eighth spot to 10th after their previous loss against Mohammedan SC 5-1. Pp Shafeel scored the solitary goal in the 67th-minute penalty.
Measurers Club lost their previous game and slipped to 11th position with one win in four games. On the other hand, Wari also moved to 12th spot, losing two and drawing as many.
Patha Chakra continue to hold the wooden spoon with two losses and one draw.
