RACE Football Field of Woxsen University achieves FIFA Quality Pro Certification, meeting highest standards set for the sport
The beautiful RACE Football Field at Hyderabad’s Woxsen University achieved the prestigious FIFA Quality Pro Certification this week. The University’s football turf, installed by FieldTurf Inc., meets the highest standards for football set by FIFA.
Woxsen University is the first university in India to achieve this elite certificate. This certification is rare at the global level as well, as only a few other turfs have received the FIFA Quality Pro Certification.
The University’s Sports Director Nilanjan Datta is elated after the RACE Football Field got the FIFA Quality Pro Certification. Datta expressed his delight by saying:
“The FIFA badge is the ultimate feather in the cap which every organization aspires for. The stringent quality checks that any FIFA certified turf goes through makes it the safest and best to play football on. This prestigious accreditation sets us apart from other Indian universities."
It is pertinent to note that this certification means that Woxsen University has the finest facilities for competitive football. To further strengthen its sports endeavor, the university has also appointed former Indian football team skipper Subrata Paul as an Executive Fellow.
