NorthEast United FC vs Jamshedpur FC: When and where to watch the ISL 2023-24 clash?

NorthEast United FC and Jamshedpur FC, two teams hovering in the middle of the points table, will lock horns at the Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium, Guwahati, on Thursday, October 26. Neither club has had a smooth start to their ISL 2023-24 campaign, but they have shown considerable resilience to squeeze out valuable points from tricky fixtures.

The previous season was a knotty affair for both outfits and a complete revamp was the need of the hour. The Highlanders decided to bring on Juan Pedro Benali as their new gaffer, while the Red Miners hired Scott Cooper.

NEUFC started the season with a hard-fought 2-1 defeat against current Shield holders Mumbai City FC. Since then, they are unbeaten in three fixtures. In addition to their home victory over Chennaiyin FC, they've also earned points on the road against Punjab FC and, most recently, Kerala Blasters FC.

While they haven't showcased absolute panache in their attack so far, the pedigree of their starlet Parthib Gogoi has shone through. The 20-year-old has already scored three goals in four matches and will be eager to extend his tally.

Jamshedpur FC began their tournament with a goalless draw away from home against East Bengal FC. Although they suffered their first defeat of the season against Kerala Blasters on the second matchday, Cooper's men followed it up with a crucial 1-0 victory against Hyderabad FC.

The Red Miners are coming into this fixture on the back of a 0-0 draw against newcomers Punjab FC, and while their points total isn't concerning, the lack of goals will definitely bother the head coach.
