Kashiling Adake stretches to win 2 points for his team

Kashiling Adake’s 8 points went in vain as Dabang Delhi suffered a 17-34 loss to Bengal Warriors. With their 4th consecutive win, the home team moved to the top of the table while the Eagles languish at the other end of the table after their sixth loss in as many matches.

The Warriors started with a bang and after the Eagles tackled Nitin Tomar, the home team went on a 12-point run, which also included an all out in the 9th minute. Jang Kun Lee and Nitin Tomar were prolific in their raids, while their defenders, led by Nilesh Shinde, were resolute at the back.

Kashiling Adake showed his quality in the opening stages by conjuring up a couple of points for the Eagles. By the 30th minute, the home team’s lead was cut down to 9 points, but the home team, buoyed by the vociferous crowd, hit back straight away.

Mahesh Goud won 2 points in his raid and that laid the foundation for another all out by the Warriors. The Eagles suffered their second all out of the match in the 35th minute as the home team extended their lead to 17 points, which became 19 with the final minute to go. Little joy came the visitors’ side in the final stages, but Kashiling scored 2 points in the buzzer raid to reduce the deficit of the loss.
