Pro Kabaddi Live Score: Haryana Steelers vs Telugu Titans, Live Match Updates, 7 October 2017
The Haryana Steelers are coming into this match on the back of a big win against U Mumba while the Telugu Titans also have a similar story from their last match, wherein they thrashed the Tamil Thalaivas 58-37.
Haryana Steelers have the defensive corners as their mainstay or stronghold with the likes of Surender Nada and Mohit Chhillar manning either end. The two combine well given that they have played together since the inception of the league and are well aware of each other's style of play which adds to their success. They are supported in the defence by others such as Vikas, Rakesh Singh Kumar and Neeraj Kumar, with two out of these three making it to the starting seven.
The raiding department of the Steelers also looks quite strong with the return of their young gun Vikas Kandola post the long injury lay off. He spearheads the attack alongside Deepak Dahiya and the experienced campaigner Wazir Singh, both of whom have been pretty consistent in his absence.
The Telugu Titans, on the other hand, have picked up the pace in the recent matches after an initial poor show in the league and are gunning for a spot in the playoffs. The main challenge for the team was led by their raiders in the last match wherein the trio of Rahul Chaudhari, Nilesh Salunkhe and Mohsen Maghsoudlou each managed to pick up a Super-10 to their credit.
The defence of the team has also played a major role in their recent success, particularly Vishal Bhardwaj, who has been a revelation in that corner position. He is assisted by Sombir and the very experienced Indian-Iranian duo of Rohit Rana and Farhad Milaghardan.
Haryana Steelers vs Telugu Titans match prediction
The Haryana Steelers will be a tough team to beat for the Titans, who are in a do-or-die state with respect to their playoffs spot. Thus, they will have to go out all guns blazing with Rahul Chaudhari leading the way and the defence will have to be on point against the rival raiders. But given the quality of the opposition, the match might still prove to be a tough one and end in favour of Haryana due to the depth of their squad.
