MUM vs HAR Dream11 Prediction: 3 surprise picks for today's Pro Kabaddi 2024 match - November 11, 2024
Two in-form sides in U Mumba (MUM) and the Haryana Steelers (HAR) cross paths in the 48th match of Pro Kabaddi 2024 on Monday, November 11, at the Noida Indoor Stadium.
In a much-anticipated clash, both these teams, who're on five wins each, will look to assert their dominance and cement their place in the top half of the table for days to come with a statement performance in this match.
U Mumba have five wins and a tie in eight matches, and come into this game after edging out the Yoddhas in a thrilling tie on Sunday. The Steelers have five wins in seven and comfortably got the better of the Gujarat Giants on Sunday as well.
In what should be a cracking contest, let's look at the top three Dream11 surprise picks.
#3 Ghanshyam Magar (RAI) (HAR)
Nepal's Ghanshyam Magar was handed his first start of PKL 11 against the Gujarat Giants on Sunday. The raider opened his account in the best manner possible, putting in a Super Raid in a do-or-die situation towards the closing stages of the first half.
While those were his only points on the night, it shows his penchant for scoring touch points and multi-point raids, making him an interesting Dream11 option. Part of the Steelers in Season 10 as well, he scored 11 raid points and one tackle point in five appearances, mostly as a substitute.
While he's not a proven asset and a bit of a wildcard, Ghanshyam Magar is a risky Dream11 surprise pick with plenty of potential, and one that should receive consideration if he starts.
#2 Manjeet (RAI) (MUM)
A former Haryana Steelers' lead raider, Manjeet will look to breach their immensely strong defense representing U Mumba when the two sides meet at the Noida Indoor Stadium on Monday. U Mumba's main signing at the auction for ₹80 lakh, Manjeet hasn't really gotten going this season, and has only managed to score 27 raid points and four tackle points in eight appearances.
However, history suggests that he can do significantly better, considering that he's 11th on the list of the all-time PKL highest point-scorers with 734 points in six seasons running. A player with that kind of a record behind him can explode at any time, and while not the safest pick, Manjeet could be a powerful Dream11 differential if he gets off to a good start.
#1 Sombir (ALL) (MUM)
U Mumba's left corner Sombir, classified as an all-rounder, has mostly been a popular Dream11 pick. However, given the company he faces in the all-rounders' category tonight in Mohammadreza Shadloui and Zafardanesh, his ownership has understandably taken a nosedive.
He has scored 16 tackle points in eight matches this season, a number which he could certainly improve on. A very confident defender, Sombir can really rack up the points when he's on a roll, with his back holds his signature move that can immobilize even the best of raiders.
A player with a very high points ceiling, Sombir should be at the top of your lists if you're looking for a Dream11 surprise pick who could create the most impact.
