Gujarat Giants took on Bengaluru Bulls in their opening fixture of the Pro Kabaddi League 2024 edition at GMC Balayogi Sports Complex in Hyderabad on Sunday, October 20. It was a memorable start for the Giants as they came away with a 36-32 victory.
Last season, Gujarat Giants made the cut for the playoffs, ending at the fourth rank in the league phase with 13 wins and nine losses, amassing 70 points. However, their PKL 2023 journey came to an end in the second Eliminator after losing to the eventual runners-up Haryana Steelers.
With the addition of raider Guman Singh at INR 1.97 crore, Gujarat Giants have improved their overall attack and will be aiming to make it big this season.
