Pawan Sehrawat in Pro Kabaddi League: How has the Telugu Titans raider fared in every season of PKL?
Pawan Sehrawat is considered one of the biggest superstars in the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL). After making his PKL debut in 2016 for Bengaluru Bulls, he has risen to third on the most raid points in PKL history (1,189) in 126 games, with 62 Super 10s and 34 super raids. He is fondly known as the 'Hi Flyer' due to his ability to jump over the defenders' shoulders.
With his terrific performance in the PKL, he got an entry into the Indian team and made most of his opportunity. He helped the national team clinch gold medals at the 2019 South Asian Games and the 2023 Asian Kabaddi Championship.

2016 season
In his debut season, Sehrawat secured 45 raid points in 13 games, with a success rate of 33% for the Bulls.
2017 season
This season saw him fall down the pecking order, as he managed to score only 11 raid points in 10 games for the Gujarat Giants.
2018 season
Pawan Sehrawat produced a sensational season with his comeback to the Bulls setup. He registered 271 raid points with 13 Super 10s in 24 games. His performance helped the franchise to lift their maiden title.
2019 season
The 28-year-old turned into a superstar from this season, as he garnered 346 raid points and 18 Super 10s in 24 appearances. This is his best-ever performance in a PKL season.
2021 season
In Season 8, Sehrawat helped the franchise seal the playoffs spot by scoring 304 raid points, while also registering 18 Super 10s.
2022 season
This edition saw Sehrawat make only a solitary appearance due to a knee injury.
2023 season
In the last season, the talented raider plied his trade for the Telugu Titans and scored 202 raid points.
Pawan Sehrawat is the most expensive acquisition in PKL history
Last year, Pawan Sehrawat emerged as the most expensive player in the PKL history. He achieved the feat during the 2023 auction, where the Telugu Titans shelled out a record amount of ₹2.605 crore to secure his services.
Although the team stood last in the 2023 season, Sehrawat was only one of the three players to breach the mark of 200 raid points.
It will be interesting to see whether Pawan Sehrawat can help the Titans secure their maiden PKL title in the 2024 season.
