The Patna Pirates, renowned as the most successful team in the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) history, are primed for another compelling season in PKL 2024. Under the adept coaching of Narender Redu, the Pirates are set to bolster their impressive legacy, which includes three PKL titles.

The Patna Pirates have a distinguished history in the league, marked by their achievement of securing three consecutive titles in Seasons 3, 4, and 5. Despite facing a rare setback during the 2018-19 season, where they failed to make the playoffs for the first time, the Pirates remain strong contenders.

This season, the team has made notable additions, including Jang Kun Lee, who is making a return to the league, top defender Shubham Shinde, and all-rounder Gurdeep, aiming to enhance their formidable lineup.

Lee, returning after four years, coincidentally comes back to Patna Pirates, his old team.

Patna came close to winning a record fourth title last season. However, they crashed out of the league in the semi-finals after their defeat against Puneri Paltan.
