Pro Kabaddi 2024: "Iss baar jhukhega nahi"- Manpreet Singh responds with 'Pushpa' movie dialogue when asked if Haryana will win PKL trophy

Haryana Steelers coach Manpreet Singh is confident that his team will go all out to win the Pro Kabaddi 2024 trophy. The Steelers qualified for the semifinals by defeating U Mumba on December 22 at the Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex.

At the post-match press conference, a reporter pointed out that the team that finished at the top of the points table in the last two seasons took the trophy home. Notably, Haryana Steelers have confirmed a top-placed finish in the PKL 2024 standings.

When asked if he has already started dreaming about putting his hands on the PKL trophy, Manpreet Singh replied:

"Iss baar jhukhega nahi. Iss baar aane de jo aata hai. Ya hum nahi ya to doosra nahi. Ye waada hai. (We will not stop this time. Let anyone come. Either we will lose everything or the opponent will lose everything. It's my promise.)"

"If you win 10 matches, lose six matches, it does not matter"- Haryana Steelers coach Manpreet Singh ahead of semifinals

Heading into the match against U Mumba, Haryana Steelers had lost their previous two matches. When asked about the message he gave to his team after their back-to-back defeats, Manpreet Singh answered:

"I have said this before also. If you win 10 matches, lose six matches, it does not matter. What matters is how you perform on the day, if your team is settled, if everyone is fit. That is what matters more. My team was on a winning streak and then lost matches, so the performance in past matches doesn't give any extra benefit or harm."
