Pro Kabaddi Top Raider, Top Defender 2024: Most Raid Points, Most Tackle Points (Updated) after PUN vs MUM
The Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) 2024 rolled on with two thrilling matches on November 3, treating fans to intense action and a few pivotal moments in the season’s journey. First up, Bengal Warriorz clashed with the determined Haryana Steelers, where a showdown between Iranian powerhouse Fazel Atrachali and his protégé Mohammadreza Shadloui Chiyaneh became the highlight.
True to its billing, the match was tightly contested until the end, with Bengal edging out a narrow 40-38 victory. Maninder Singh's Super 10 led the Warriorz, while contributions from the rest of the squad proved crucial.
The night’s second showdown brought fans the excitement of the Maharashtrian Derby, with defending champions Puneri Paltan locking horns with rivals U Mumba.
Puneri’s well-rounded gameplay and standout performances from captain Aslam Inamdar and Mohit Goyat, complemented by Gaurav Khatri’s solid High 5 in defense, secured a comfortable 35-28 victory. This consistency from Puneri Paltan has only strengthened their top position in the league.
With these match results, let’s take a closer look at the updated leaderboards for raid and tackle points in PKL 2024.
Most Raid Points in Pro Kabaddi 2024
The competition for top raiders in PKL 2024 remains fierce, with no movement in the top ranks after the latest matches. Hi-Flyer Pawan Sehrawat holds steady as the league’s leading raider, having amassed 65 raid points in six games.
Meanwhile, rising star Devank is making waves this season with an impressive 61 raid points from five matches. Following him is Narender Kandola with 50 raid points in five games, whose controlled aggression has been effective for the Thalaivas. Other top raiders include Bharat Hooda (49 points in six games) and Arjun Deshwal (48 points in five games).
Both players have shown consistency but will need to push harder to challenge the top three and remain in the race for PKL’s top-raider title.
Most Tackle Points in Pro Kabaddi 2024
On the defensive front, Gaurav Khatri made significant strides with his stellar performance in the derby against U Mumba. His High 5, with seven tackle points, lifted him to the top of the leaderboard, where he now commands the first position with 28 tackle points in six games.
Trailing behind are Nitin Rawal and Sumit Sangwan, both at 22 tackle points from six games. Fazel Atrachali demonstrated his experience in the match against Haryana Steelers, contributing four tackle points that elevated him to fourth place with 18 tackle points in five games. He shares this position with Ankit Jaglan, who has matched Atrachali’s numbers in both tackle points and games played.
Meanwhile, Nitesh Kumar and Sahil Gulia from Tamil Thalaivas hold the sixth spot with 17 tackle points in five games each.
