With PKL 11 set to begin on October 18, the Australian trio shared their thoughts on the thrilling sport of kabaddi.

In an Instagram video shared by Star Sports, the cricketers can be seen watching highlights of some of the most memorable moments in PKL history, starting with the “Hi-Flyer” Pawan Sehrawat’s famous Lion Jump against Patna Pirates. The height and agility displayed by Sehrawat left David Warner stunned, who said:

“Just like a wow. That’s some good height!”

Next up, the cricketers witnessed the iconic eight-point raid by Pardeep Narwal against Haryana Steelers, where Narwal executed his signature Dubki move to perfection. Steve Smith was left mesmerized by the quickness and technique involved in the raid, commenting:

“Skills. Fast feet.”

The trio was further impressed when they watched a monstrous tackle by Girish Ernak, where he single-handedly tossed Siddharth Desai out of the mat. Warner’s reaction was priceless as he exclaimed:

The cricketers continued to be filled with awe as they watched other incredible moments, including Rinku HC’s solo tackle against Sachin Tanwar. Pat Cummins even took the opportunity to explain the rules to Warner, noting how players must hold onto the raider until they run out of breath and stop chanting, “Kabaddi, Kabaddi.”

What was Steve Smith’s favorite PKL moment?

When asked which moment they enjoyed the most, Steve Smith was quick to highlight Pawan Sehrawat’s Lion Jump, describing it as:

“I like the one where the guy jumped over the top. Very athletic and an unbelievable skill.”

As for whether they’d give kabaddi a try themselves, Warner eagerly responded:

“Yeah, definitely 100%.”

Finally, the cricketers were asked who from the Australian cricket team would excel in kabaddi. Pat Cummins pointed to Marcus Stoinis, to which Warner humorously chimed in:

“Is it Batista?” referencing Stoinis’ hulking physique. Cummins then laughed, adding, “Stoinis, he likes to be wrestled!”
